Mailroom flow is generally smoothest when working left to right. Store working materials as near as possible to their point of use.

Key Considerations:

  • The tasks that need to be completed in the mailroom/office
  • The dimensions of the proposed room so a layout C.A.D. design may be done
  • The number and size of sorting openings required
  • The number of staff who will work in the space

Each Mail Center will be designed uniquely to increase productivity and mail flow. An onsite survey by an H.D.I. representative can facilitate proper equipment selection as well as an efficient floor plan.
